Speaker

Jeanine LeShana

Jeanine was born and raised in western Canada. After high school she ventured south and attended George Fox University. It was there that she met Jim and they fell head over heels for each other their senior year. They were married in 1982. For 30 years they lived in Southern California and ministered at Rose Drive Friends Church. They moved to Haviland, Kansas in 2012, and served at Barclay College for about 6 years. They returned to the beautiful northwest in 2018 to serve with NWYM. Jeanine is mom to four adult children, mother-in-law to two, and grandma to three boys. She loves to travel, read a good historical fiction novel, take long walks, and spend time with family.

RISE stands for:

Renew     Inspire     Submerge     Engage

We hope that at each retreat you will leave renewed and inspired for another year, and that while you are here you will submerge yourself into the Word and engage with your sisters in Christ.

Our goal with RISE is for women to understand and know they are significant to Jesus and they are significant in the body of Christ. Women have always played an integral role in the development of the Church. When women experience healing and wholeness it impacts their relationships and thereby impacts the landscape of the local church. Our purpose never changes, but the ways in which we celebrate our relationship to Christ are fresh and relevant each year.

3 days, 2 nights, 1 purpose.
